My name is Candy – welcome to my blog!

I am a San Diegan transplanted in the Bay Area (thanks hubs for being the catalyst of that change!).  Even though it’s been over 2 years since the move, I am still trying to figure out what shoes to wear when I can’t wait Rainbows every day.  I love the idea of hobbies.  I have started 5 scarves, 2 scrapbooks (one tangible one, one on iPhoto), and over a dozen blog posts!  I like to think of myself as a pioneer 😉  I teach Biology to high schoolers and dream about being a part of public school reform.   Another dream I have is dining at the world’s best restaurants.  Currently, I have plans to visit #7 on the list.
